Inclement Weather, Closings and Delays

In response to inclement winter weather, ECU Health is proactively closing outpatient clinics. This page will be updated as new information is available.

Patients are strongly encouraged to contact their clinic prior to their appointment.

  • Outpatient clinics located in Roanoke Rapids will be closed Friday, Feb. 21.
    • Exception: ECU Health Outpatient Rehabilitation – Roanoke Rapids will open 12 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21.
  • Outpatient clinics located in Greenville, Belhaven, Chocowinity, Edgecombe, Pinetops, Washington, Wilson, Edenton and Ahoskie will open at 12 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21.
  • Outpatient clinics located in Duplin, Kinston and Outer Banks Hospitals will operate normal hours Friday, Feb. 21
  • ECU Health SurgiCenter will open at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 20 and Friday, Feb. 21. Patients should call ahead of any scheduled appointments or visits to confirm hours and appointments.
  • ECU Health Outpatient Rehabilitation – Greenville will open 12 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21.  Patient should call ahead of any scheduled appointments to confirm at 252-847-6603.
  • ECU Health Outpatient Rehabilitation – Washington will open 12 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21.  Patient should call ahead of any scheduled appointments to confirm at 252-975-4395.
  • ECU Health Employee Pharmacy will close at 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20 and will open 8 a.m. Friday, Feb. 21.
  • ECU Health Home Health & Hospice offices will be closed Thursday, Feb. 20 and will open at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 21.
  • ECU Health Wellness Center locations in Ahoskie & Greenville will remain closed Thursday, Feb. 20. 24-hour access will remain available to eligible members.
  • The ECU Health Wellness Center – Washington will be open 12-5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20. All classes and programs are canceled.
  • ECU Health Lifestyle Medicine Clinics are closed to in-person visits Thursday, Feb. 20 but are offering services virtually.
