Brain Injury Support Group

In Person June 08, 2028 - 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.
ECU Health Medical Center Rehabilitation Classroom - 2115 Hospital Loop Road, Greenville NC 27834
An older group of community members talk with each other during a support group meeting.

Support groups are a great way to meet others who have experienced similar things you and your family have been through as a brain injury survivor. Meetings are open to brain injury survivors, both traumatic and non-traumatic, stroke survivors, and loved ones and/or caregivers.

Meeting topics include:

  • Sharing challenges, recovery progress, helpful tips, encouragement
  • Coping skills, emotional support, social interactions, spirituality
  • Stroke symptoms, medical concerns, medications
  • Healthy living, exercise, diet, activities, speakers and treats

This event is hosted on the second Thursday of each month at 11 a.m. at ECU Health Medical Center’s Rehabilitation Classroom. Free parking is available with plenty of handicap spaces.

To register or for more information, email group leaders Michele Horvath ([email protected]) or Alex Kinney ([email protected]) or call 252-847-0571. We look forward to meeting you!
