Learn INFANT & CHILD CPR Choking rescue in a hands-on instructor led environment. CPR is ideal for parents, grandparents, baby sitters and others who want to learn infant CPR but do not need a certification to meet a job requirement.
ECU Health Duplin Hospital’s Community Health Programs will be offering free adult wellness screenings, including body mass index, blood pressure, glucose, and cholesterol checks, along with health coaching. These screenings are crucial for assessing the risk of chronic diseases such as heart disease, stroke, and diabetes.
Come out to learn more about eating healthier at home and cooking in your kitchen to help manage prediabetes and diabetes or prevent type 2 diabetes.
Taught by our very own ECU Health Medical Center nurses, our childbirth class offers instruction on the labor and delivery process. Topics discussed during this session include the labor process, hospital birth plans, when to contact medical providers, breathing techniques, medication, self-care and methods of childbirth.
Members are free and guests can participate for free with a donation. Food may be dropped off at the Wellness Center - Greenville from November 4th through November 9th, and all donations go to the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina.
