For expectant and postpartum families; A place to ask questions, and receive tips and support with breastfeeding and/or pumping.
Our Breastfeeding Class at ECU Health Chowan Hospital offers basic instruction on how to breastfeed your baby.
Taught by our very own ECU Health Medical Center nurses, our childbirth class offers instruction on the labor and delivery process.

Who would you want to make medical decisions for you if you could not speak for yourself?
Support groups are a great way to meet others who have experienced similar things you and your family have been through as a brain injury survivor. Meetings are open to brain injury survivors, both traumatic and non-traumatic, stroke survivors, and loved ones and/or caregivers.

Our Breastfeeding Support Group at ECU Health Chowan Hospital offers an opportunity to connect with other mothers and lactation specialists on various breastfeeding topics.
“We’re a limb you can hold onto”. This group provides support for individuals with limb loss and their family or friends. Please join us on the third Thursday night of each month (excluding December). Note: the Disability Advocates and Resource Center is not a support group, but is a resource for people with a disability. They are located on John Hopkins Drive.
