Learn INFANT & CHILD CPR Chocking rescue in a hands-on instructor led environment.
Support groups are a great way to meet others who have experienced similar things you and your family have been through as a brain injury survivor. Meetings are open to brain injury survivors, both traumatic and non-traumatic, stroke survivors, and loved ones and/or caregivers.
Join us for our yoga class each Thursday, with sessions from 1:30 to 2 p.m. Sign up is required due to limited space.
Join us for this four class series, which includes hands on training with a Certified Chef and Registered Dietitian. This series is open to the community for a fee of only $40 per class or $140 for the whole series. We also offer a discount for couples.
Our childbirth class offers instruction on the labor and delivery process. Topics discussed during this session include the labor process, hospital birth plans, when to contact medical providers and more.

Losing a loved one is devastating. ECU Health Home Health and Hospice offers a community-based grief program “Living On After Loss.” Facilitators guide participants through an eight-week grief journey, following the death of a loved one. Anyone over the age of 18 is welcome to attend. There is no charge to participate. Whether it is an expected or unexpected death, those left on this earth are welcome.

There are many physical, emotional and mental benefits to massages. Massages can: reduce stress and increase relaxation, reduce pain and muscle soreness, improve circulation, energy, and alertness, improve immune function, relieve nausea, and relieve lymphedema.
Our Breastfeeding Support Group at ECU Health Chowan Hospital offers an opportunity to connect with other mothers and lactation specialists on various breastfeeding topics.
