Our Breastfeeding Class at ECU Health Chowan Hospital offers basic instruction on how to breastfeed your baby.
Taught by our very own ECU Health Medical Center nurses, our childbirth class offers instruction on the labor and delivery process. Topics discussed during this session include the labor process, hospital birth plans, when to contact medical providers, breathing techniques, medication, self-care and methods of childbirth.

Losing a loved one is devastating. ECU Health Home Health and Hospice offers a community-based grief program “Living On After Loss.” Facilitators guide participants through an eight-week grief journey, following the death of a loved one. Anyone over the age of 18 is welcome to attend. There is no charge to participate. Whether it is an expected or unexpected death, those left on this earth are welcome.

Support groups are a great way to meet others who have experienced similar things you and your family have been through as a brain injury survivor. Meetings are open to brain injury survivors, both traumatic and non-traumatic, stroke survivors, and loved ones and/or caregivers.
