Easing your mind with high-quality compassionate care.
If your child is hospitalized at Maynard Children’s Hospital and has symptoms of a complicated infectious disease or immune system issue, his or her doctor will contact us. Our specialists help to diagnose and treat your child’s condition while working with the primary care team and other pediatric specialists involved in your child’s care. Board-certified pediatric infectious disease specialists are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in the hospital. After discharge, we see children in the Pediatric Specialty Clinic (PSC) for follow-up care. Outpatient referrals from primary care physicians in the community are also seen in the PSC.
